Position: Azure Migration Engineer
Job Location: Engineering Square, LLC. 39560 Stevenson Place, Suite 112, Fremont, CA 94539.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Designing and Configuring Azure Cloud Solutions across multiple technologies such as Salesforce, Microsoft, Open Source, and Oracle.
- Customer collaboration on migration and discovery workshops and documentation
- Good experience in Azure lift & shift/Rehost migrations with various source environments like VMware, Hyper-V, Physical servers, and Other Clouds
- Salesforce source systems to Azure migrations
- ASR, Azure Migrate, DMA, DTA migration
- Set up the target environment from foundational blueprints (HLD/LLD designs & requirements traceability matrices) for migration and replication policy.
- Run test migrations and full migrations from on-premises infrastructure and servers to Azure.
- Migration planning exercises and effort estimation for projects/ proposals
- Documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration, and setup).
- Assisting in providing post-migration support for customers
- Monitor and improve the security of current and future Azure environments
- Evaluate and automate the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environments
- Work with engineering and other cross-functional teams to integrate Azure infrastructure components into processes and procedures.
This position requires travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.
This position allows for telecommuting.
Requirements :
3+ years of Cloud migration experience. Expert understanding of a wide range of Azure products such as Virtual Machines, AVD, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, Express Route, Traffic Manager, Azure Firewall, Nat Gateways, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, Azure Functions, Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, Storage (Blob, disk accounts)
Alternate requirements: We will accept a US bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS, EE, IT, or a closely related field, and five (5) years of experience as an App Developer, Consultant, SalesForce Developer, or related occupation. Must have professional experience with SAP, HTML, Javascript, CSS, OOPS Concepts, and Salesforce.
